Can the ultra sound technician tell if its a boy or a girl at 13 weeks?
Just had my first ultra sound today. The baby was moving all around in there--what a beautiful and reassuring sight! I asked the technician if she could tell if the baby was a boy or girl. She said she couldn't be 100% sure until a little later in the game, but she did say that based on "certain areas" of the scan, she would bet that the baby is a boy. Has anyone else had this experience, and, if so, was the prediction accurate? Or totally wrong?
I HAD THIS EXACT EXPERIENCE MY ULTRASOUND SAID IT LOOKED LIKE A BOY BUT COULDNT BE SURE UNTIL CLOSER TO 20 WEEKS SHE TOLD ME DONT RUN OUT AND START BUYING BOY STUFF BECAUSE SHE COULD BE WRONG. BUT IT TURNED OUT SHE WAS CORRECT WHAT SHE SAW WAS A LITTLE BOY PART =]
